“You may not always have a comfortable life and you will not always be able to solve all of the world’s problems at once but don’t ever underestimate the importance you can have because history has shown us that courage can be contagious and hope can take on a life of its own.”

– Michelle Obama

The end of the 2020 year has arrived! There were  so many things that happened in this year and most of that was out of our prediction. Not only to our daily life, but also the children. Somehow Children seem to lose something important; going to school, meeting new friends, learning and experiencing new things, etc. However, of course we do not want them to lose their hope for tomorrow.

Classroom Practice

As for giving them those huge amounts of hopes and happiness, we would like to have our  very first virtual end-year concert. This concert will be one way to build the children’s self-confidence even though they could not meet with all their teachers and friends. Moreover, as we know that the performing arts for children have many benefits such as to help them improve their concentration and memory, develop their social skills by working as part of a team, and of course the most important is expressing themselves in a fun way. During this time because most of the things are not reachable, we hope we still can do something for the children.

Children’s practice trough Zoom

Beginning with the simple idea in the middle of October, our school’s children then prepared some special performances with ‘Hope’ as the big theme. From the pre-nursery class up to kindergarten group’s class, all of the children and teachers will show up their best, such as singing, dancing, and instrumental performance. Not only that, the teachers also prepare some special videos that only can be seen during the virtual concert.

So, are you ready for the first virtual concert event in our school?

The Virtual End-Year Concert will be held on December 8th through the Zoom meeting. Just stay at home, stay healthy, and enjoy our concert together!
